The Trinity
We believe that there is one God eternally co-existing in three Persons, each fully God, sharing the same nature and attributes, equal in every divine perfection, without division of nature, essence or being, and each fulfilling distinct and separate offices in the work of creating and sustaining creation, and in reconciling mankind to himself.
"But we ought always to thank God for you, brothers loved by the Lord, because from the beginning God chose you to be saved through the sanctifying work of the Spirit and through belief in the truth." (2 Thessalonians 2:13)
"Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit" (Matthew 28:19).
God the Father
We believe in God, the Father, creator of all things, who governs all creatures by His wise providence, according to His foreknowledge and the free counsel of His own will.
We believe that God concerns Himself in every aspect of human life, and in the social, cultural, economic and political spheres of human existence.
We believe that God hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and death all that come to Him through faith in Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ
We believe in Jesus Christ, the Word of God incarnate, true God and true man, God's one and only Son, through whom everything was created, conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the virgin Mary.
We believe that He experienced life as a true human being, yet without sin.
We believe in His vicarious, atoning death on the cross, his bodily resurrection, and ascension into heaven, where He ever lives to make intercession for His people, and in His personal, visible return to earth. (Hebrews 13:8)
The Holy Spirit
We believe in the Holy Spirit, who came forth from the Father and Son, to convict the world of guilt, righteousness and judgment, and to regenerate, sanctify, empower and seal everyone who comes to the Father through faith in Jesus Christ.
We believe that the Holy Spirit indwells every believer in Christ from the moment of salvation, and is an abiding equipper, teacher and guide.
We believe that the Holy Spirit bestows a variety of gifts upon the church to equip the saints for the work of the ministry for building up the body of Christ, fulfilling the Great Commission (Romans 8:11)
The Bible
We believe that the Scriptures of the Old and New Testaments are the written and complete Word of God, communicated by the Holy Spirit through human authors, fully inspired and without error in the original manuscripts, and that Scripture is the supreme authority in all matters concerning faith and conduct. (2 Peter 1:20-21)
We believe that the Scriptures record and announce God's revelation of himself to mankind, and that this revelation finds its fullness in the incarnate Word of God, Jesus Christ.
"All Scripture is God-breathed and is useful for teaching, rebuking, correcting and training in righteousness, so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work." (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
Mankind
We believe that God created the human race as male and female, in His image, and free from sin, so they would be in personal relationship with Him. (Romans 5:12)
We believe the human race fell from grace through Adam by choosing to disobey God, and as a result, every human being born since is a sinner by nature and choice, and that we are all born spiritually dead, separated from God and in need of redemption.
"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them." (Genesis 1:27)
Salvation
We believe salvation involves the redemption of the whole person, and is offered freely to all who by faith repent and believe in Jesus Christ and His finished and complete work on the cross, who, by His own blood obtained eternal redemption for all who believe. We believe salvation is wholly the work of God, without any merit on man's part. (Romans 6:23, Ephesians 2:8-9)
The Church
We believe in the church, both universal and local, which is a living, spiritual body of which Christ is the head, and of which all true believers are members, associated for worship, fellowship, discipleship, ministry, and evangelism. (Ephesians 1:22-23)
We believe the church is entrusted with proclaiming the gospel, God's message and offer of salvation, for reconciling mankind to God and each other.
Future Events
We believe in the personal and visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ to earth, where He will establish his kingdom.
We believe in the bodily resurrection of the righteous and the unrighteous; of the righteous to eternal life with God, and the unrighteous to eternal separation from God. (John 14:1-3)
